Inktober 2018 - A Challenge to Myself
I assume that quite a lot of people now know about 'Inktober', but if you haven't heard of it yet, it's a challenge that people who like to draw do each year. Essentially, there are 31 prompt words - one for each day of October, and the challenge is to produce a drawing each day based on that prompt word.
This month, I decided to do it.
Rather than traditional wet inking, I decided to use Procreate on my iPad, which is a drawing program you use with an Apple Pencil. This is because with the process of moving house soon, I needed to give up my art space in preparation and this way of drawing is way more compact and practical for me right now! Less spilled ink on rental apartment floors!
